Tyger burns brighter

Illuminating the visionary writing of William Blake through interpretive juggling and music renditions, the Reverend James Jay, complete with Southern accent, performs a circus-style religious revival. The jester's twirling, spinning, and book manipulation serve to clarify the mystical musings and divine manuscripts. Even "The Tyger" burns brighter in this clever show.

Next up, James Jay confessed: “I used to be a mime.” To atone, he performed a long William Blake poem and book manipulation routine. In addition to reciting the poetry with great interpretation, his performance combining the arts of dance, toss and contact juggling, cigar boxes, and more was truly the freshest and most creative act of the evening.
